Race 4, Farrout Raceway
Chris R took the win with great
use of the loaners (thank you Michael for supplying the 4WD and F1 loaners and nice to see that the loaner cars can win) just
under a lap ahead of Stephen in 2nd place. Michael Smalley came in 3/10ths of a lap behind in 3rd,
only just holding off Daniel (4th) by 1/10th of a lap. Thomas took 5th while Jim Wolfe,
Bob B, and Gary were each separated by just 1/10th of a lap for 6th, 7th and 8th,
respectively. Stan came in 9th, holding off Chris Chan ½ a lap down in 10th.

Race 3 Report 6 May 2006
In what was to turn out to be a great 4WD day for many people, despite
Stephen's best attempts to harass him in anyway possible (mostly completely underhanded and darstardly) Rene romped away to
a 2 lap win on his home track. Rene did it by setting best lap totals on all 4 lanes - specially on Blue where
he was nearly a lap better than anyone else. Stephen came in second despite a relatively slow run on blue lane just
2/10ths of a lap ahead of Michael S in 3rd place who got equal best of day on White. Note just how close to each other the Top 3 drivers were on Red and white lanes with only 3/10ths and 2/10ths of a
lap seperating them. Daniel was a clear 4th, 2 laps behind Michael but 2 laps clear of 5th place with only Red
and White lane keeping him from the Top 3.
Behind the Top 4 we had a whole bunch of BEST EVER results for the following guys: Getting his first
ever 5th place was Jim Wolfe doing very consistent laps on all lanes and a standout on Red to take 14 points home.
Equally impressive (and also using loaners) was Richard Zimmerman in his first ever 6th place using consistentcy
and Top 5 of day runs on both blue and yellow to get there. Also getting his best 4WD result
to date was Russell in 7th just 1/2 a lap back and Craig got his first ever 8th place only 3/10ths of a lap
behind Russell. Seperated by only 1/10th of a lap in 9th and 10th were Mike P and Bill P.
Special mentions for their efforts go to: Bill Polokow as Race Director, even more strict than Nigel; Thomas
for getting a Top 5 of day on Red lane; Stan for doing the same on White lane!!

RACE
2, SCX 4WD: 18 March 2006
The second 4WD race of the year saw the
extension of Michael's win streak to 2 races when he beat Daniel into second by 6/10ths of a lap. Nearly a full lap
back from Daniel was Stephen in 3rd. Rising from the depths of his despair of the last 4WD race John fought back
and took a strong 4th nearly 5 laps ahead of Bill P in fifth.
Russell got his second best result ever, in any class, with
sixth beating our host Gary into seventh with strong performances on Blue and Yellow making up for a disaster on Red. Nigel
just was pushed into eigth by just 1/10th of a lap. Tim got his second best result ever as well with ninth with
Thomas rounding out the Top Ten for the 4WD race.

RACE 1, SCX 4WD: 21 January 2006
The first 4WD race of the year ended just like the
WRC Monte Carlo Rally of this weekend: a Ford Focus win, only here Ford took second as well. Michael took the win ahead
of Rene in 2nd by just 3/10ths of a lap, ahead of Dennis in 3rd. In 4th was
Daniel just 1/10th of a lap in front of Stephen in 5th. A couple
of laps behind was Thomas in 6th with the remaining four in the Top 10 being seperated by only 8/10ths
of a lap (Nigel, Jim Wiseman, Chris C and Richard C).
