I get more questions about the slot-car display cabinets than anything else.  I designed them myself after not finding anything suitable. 

The idea is that there are 10 cars to a shelf, 5 shelves to a cabinet and that there is enough space to get a big hand in and around the cars as well as enough space to see all of them - and with the mirrored background - see the back and underneath them as well.  They mount simply with at total of 4 screws, one in each corner.  The hand-drawn plans and measurements are as shown below.  I had them built by Borray Plastics in Los Angeles - If you want new ones built speak to:
