As I am sure you realize... You are off 'the scale' and we are not talking 1/32!

The men in the white coats will be arriving shortly...

Great stuff!

I'm now nearing the completion of "Pont des Miolans" and getting it ready for the Petersen event. The village and the river are finished. In general, I try to make the buildings slightly smaller than 1/32 scale to make the surrounding seem bigger. I added a few HO-scale deer in the canyon to "force perspective" --that is, to make the canyon look bigger and deeper. Thanks to Dennis who donated several figures that I've used here.

Beautiful work William! It's hard to do better than your Targa Florio with its campfire guy and many other subtle details. The under-scale trick is something I wish I had known before. My ELDON building and control tower have always seemed rediculously big even though I made them to scale.
Thanks for adding interest to this otherwise dead forum.
Sincerely,
Michael

Beautiful! Did I read the Petersen email announcement correctly? Is this the track that is going to be auctioned off at the event????

Not so "Fast" Eddie anymore. Team Boola, circa the '60s

Yes, we're auctioning it off (assuming that it makes the reserve price).
