SCX 4WDRuns as is out of the box. No magnet. Approved Ninco rear tires mandatory.
Mandatory Ninco 19x10mm tires for the rear. You can still run the SCX tires on the front if you wish (allowed as a potential cost saving so you only have to change one pair of tires). No added weight allowed. Engine is the RX-81 in V2 state of tune. All new SCX 4WD cars come with this engine since 2004 – this way as few people spend extra money and motor field stays level. You can use a RX-81 in V1 tune if you wish, however it will be slower down the straights! For details on differences in SCX RX engines see the following thread at Slot Forum http://www.slotforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6992&hl

Eligible Cars: All SCX 4WD gear driven cars made from 1991 to present originally fitted with a RX-5, RX-8 or RX-81 motor (except Porsche 959, Bugatti EB110 and Audi 90 Quattro). Also eligible is any plastic or resin-bodied period (1980/90/2000’s) rally car running on a SCX 4WD chassis/drive-train/wheel/tire combination from the class list below. Ninco GT1 Le MansRuns as is out of the box. No magnet. NC-1 or NC-8 motors only. Approved Ninco rear tires mandatory.
Since 2009 we’ve removed the weight we allowed on these cars in 2006. A majority of members felt that finding the optimum weight size and position required too much tuning time. The BMW V12 LMR and LM98 are no longer allowed, as they are not GT1 cars (and were deemed too fast). Mandatory tires are Ninco 20×11 or 20.5×11.5 tires depending on wheel your car came with (all models have had all the various size hubs available so you can run either tire on any car but you will need the right size hubs). All cars must run the Ninco NC-1 or NC-8 motor. Magnets, if fitted, must be removed. No added weight allowed. Engine brackets to convert from NC-2/3/4/5 to NC-1 or NC-8 motors are available. These cars are no longer in production with NC-1 motors but new cars with NC-2/NC-5 motors can be sourced from local stores, internet retailers and eBay and converted back to NC-1 or NC-8 motors.A detailed list of eligible cars is here: Ninco GT1 Le Mans
