The 2011 FarrOut SCX F1 Championship final results show Christophe Deluy and Tom Giese whipping the old guard with Christophe finishing ahead of Tom to take the win by just two tenths of a point. Michael Smalley finished third, ahead of Eddie Shorer in fourth and Terry De Los Santos in fifth. Thomas Lauffenberger took the sixth spot. Fingers Johnson was seventh and Stan Smith and Gary Woods tied for eight. The F1 crown is a big deal of course. Congrats to Christophe for a solid season. Was that Michael Smalley third? What… Stats guy? Just one moment… Oh…mmm. Well, apparently it’s true. Michael Smalley did finish third. Great work Tom and Christophe. Occupy OTHG.

With just one race remaining in the FarrOut 2011 SCX F1 Championship, Christophe Deluy's leading score will be difficult to beat. Michael, Terry, Eddie and Tom may just have to be content scrapping over second place. In true F1 fashion, Thomas, Gary, Stan and myself have a little B-league sideshow going on for sixth place.

Adjusted scoring sees Christophe Deluy leading Michael Smalley for the 2011 FarrOut SCX F1 Championship. This may be Christophe's first championship lead. Terry De Los Santos and Eddie Shorer are tied for third. Tom Geise is fifth, Thomas Lauffenberger sixth.

Ryan Nelson had a great weekend by making his first appearance in 2011 on a winning team in the SCX F1 team race at Rene's SSI Raceway. This gives him the lead of the Overall Championship and puts him in a tie for the lead in both the SCX F1 Championship and the 3 Hr Endurance Championship.

The 2011 Farrout SCX F1 Championship is off to an interesting start with Daniel Snipes leading over Christophe Deluy in second. Eddie Shorer, Michael Smalley, Ted Denney and Terry De Los Santos fill your top six.
