Race Reports can be found here: 2011 1964-74 Fly Le Mans Race Reports
12/3/2011 Michael Smalley takes the 2011 FarrOut Fly Le Mans Championship with a dominating three wins over the season. Eddie Shorer finishes second in the championship with two race wins. Christophe Deluy is third, two tenths of a point ahead of both Tom Giese and Terry de los Santos, who tie for fourth. I’m able to manage sixth, ahead of Gary Woods and Thomas Lauffenberger, who tie for seventh. Carlos Raphael is ninth and Daniel Snipes finishes tenth with just two races run. Hopefully we will see more of Daniel next year. It’s always a pleasure to watch him drive. Great driving, all. This has been a fun class to watch over the year.

10/1/2011 In what has become a favorite class for the club over the past two years, we find Michael Smalley leading the 2011 FarrOut Fly 1964-74 Le Mans Class. Eddie Shorer fills a gap behind in second that is created by three drivers fighting for third, with Tom Giese and Terry De Los Santos tied and Christophe Deluy just behind. Behind them the rank and file do so.

4/2/2011 Michael Smalley and Terry De Los Santos were able to hold Eddie Shorer to a third place in the most recent race in the 2011 Farrout Fly Le Mans Championship. As a result Eddie slides to second. Michael takes up the lead and Terry is now third. Tom Geise breaks the tie with Terry by moving down to fifth while Daniel Snipes now claims fourth. Gary Woods avoids the flack and holds onto sixth.
|
2/5/2011 The new for 2011 all Fly class started off with a well-fought race at Stephen's challenging Farrout Raceway. Eddie Shorer opens the season on top with a great drive in his Lola. Michael Smalley shows that he is a contender with any car and fills in second. Daniel Snipes uses his skills to take away third, leaving Terry De Los Santos and Tom Giese in a tie for fourth, with Gary Woods following in sixth. An interesting start to what looks to be a class that will offer a lot of excitement and car variety.
