Michael Smalley walks away with the 2010 FarrOut Overall Championship with 27 wins and a perfect score of 20. After a year-long battle, Terry De Los Santos finishes second ahead of Eddie Shorer in third. I'm able to manage fourth for the fourth straight year. Tom Giese and Daniel Snipes end tied for fifth, each with 15 points in the adjusted average.
Continuing his rise up the standings, Christophe Deluy is able to step to seventh, nudging Thomas Lauffenberger to eighth. Gary Woods is happy in ninth, just ahead of Bob Beck in tenth.
For those who were watching it was an exciting end to what was certainly a monumental year for the FarrOut Slot Car Club. Record attendance saw 58 different drivers race with the club in 2010. The Peterson Charity event was a big success, for the MS Friends charity, and for the demonstration of unity and enthusiasm our club members displayed. If you were there you know it was a great day, and it would have been nothing at all without the labor and generosity of the Farrout Slot Car Club.
Next year will be our ninth year of recorded Farrout Championship racing results. I hope you're all having at least as much fun as I am. See you in '011. cw

Going into the final third of the 2010 FarrOut Slot Car Club racing season, Michael Smalley is your clear Overall Championship leader with a perfect 400 points in his best of 20 races. Terry De Los Santos is second, but continues to be dogged by Eddie Shorer in third. No more than two-tenths of a point has separated the two in the past four months, but Eddie's brief hold of second has yet to be repeated. I'm able to tighten the gap to Daniel Snipes in fourth, but he looks pretty secure there. I continue to stay clear of Thomas Lauffenberger in sixth. We're both feeling some pressure from Tom Giese in seventh, who has a strong best of ten score which he will likely improve. Christophe Deluy remains on the move and is now up to eighth.

With 15 races complete in the FarrOut 2010 Overall Championship adjusted scoring takes affect, reordering the field. Michael Smalley leads, Terry De Los Santos takes up second, followed by Eddie Shorer in third. Thomas Lauffenberger is now fourth ahead of Craig Williamson in fifth and Daniel Snipes settling in sixth. Christophe Deluy and Tom Giese are seventh and eighth.

Even a race meeting on my own track could not rescue my season, and I fall one place to tenth overall with Carlos Raphael slotting into sixth in the 2010 FarrOut Overall Championship. With a strong showing at Farrout Raceway, Bob Beck moves into the top-six of the 2010 OTHG Overall Championship, displacing Tom Giese. Michael Smalley moves into the lead while Daniel Snipes aids in pushing Terry De Los Santos down to third.
Twenty-eight drivers make up the full roster, and it looks like the club is off to another great year of racing.

Daniel Snipes is in third and it looks like the year is likely to be another shoot-out between these three.
