1964-74 Fly Le Mans Series Race 3 2010 Race 13 Apr. 3, 2010 Woodside Raceway
They behaved better than usual on this second shortest, most twisty of FSCC circuits, but it was still a test of nerves. Usual suspects Michael Smalley and Terry De Los Santos took top two honors, with suspect-in-training Eddie Shorer claiming a healthy third. Yours truly, masquerading as a suspect-in-training, and Daniel Snipes rounded out the top five.

1964-74 Fly Le Mans Series Race 2 2010 Race 6 Feb. 6, 2010 Woodside Raceway
Now the Flys flew, along with the allowed Slot.it Ferrari 312 PB; these winders needed to come down to 11.5 volts to keep them trackbound. Once again, the top drivers from race one got out to fast starts and held on to what they got. One surprise, though; Terry DLS managed to nip Michael Smalley for the win, with the in-trainers third and fourth, and Christophe Deluy rounding the top five.

1964-74 Fly Le Mans Series Race 1 2010 Race 2 Jan. 16, 2010 Riverside Raceway
The speed coupes now took the road, and since the first race took an exceedingly long time (24 drivers x 4 minutes = !!!), a fiat order was made (nothing to do with the car) to shorten the heats to the customary 3 minutes. We still couldn't finish before sundown, but we didn't care; as anyone will attest, a bad day racing is better than a good day working. Even though it's a new year, it's all the same old story, with the usual suspects and suspect-in-training Craig Williamson in the top four spots when they ran the final heat. (For the record, Eddie Shorer was in fifth.) That's how it ended. The table for Round 2 will be shown separately.
