11/7/2009
The 2009 OTHG Trans-Am Championship is now complete. The top three finishers look very familiar in these spots with Michael Smalley winning, Terry De Los Santos placing second, and Daniel Snipes taking third. They were followed by Craig Williamson in fourth, Eddie Shorer in fifth and Thomas Lauffenberger tying with Chris Chan for sixth. Stan Smith was eighth, rookie Christophe Deluy ended up ninth with only three races completed. Nigel Rick also only contended three races to take tenth.

10/17/2009
With just one race to go in the 2009 OTHG Scalextric Trans-Am Championship, Daniel Snipes completes his three race minimum with a second place finish and vaults into third place overall. Michael Smalley continues to lead followed by Terry De Los Santos in second. I am bumped to my usual fourth place behind the dynamic trio. Chris Chan and Eddie Shorer are now tied for fifth. Stan Smith drops from fourth all the way to ninth. Thomas Lauffenberger and Christophe Deluy fill seventh and eighth. Stephen Farr-Jones drops from seventh to tenth. Fifth to ninth are covered by just 4/10ths of a point.

The final race Trans-Am race of 2009 will be held at Nigelstone on Nov. 7. Be there to see how this one ends.

Show Scores
9/5/2009
The recent team race at Chris Chan's did not have a large affect on the 2009 OTHG Trans-Am Championship for most drivers, but there were some apparent beneficiaries. The trio of Michael Smalley, Terry De Los Santos and Craig Williamson are well in front in the first three spots. Stan Smith's berth on a winning team did a lot to keep him in fourth. Eddie Shorer also benefited, jumping to fifth, and positioning him to challenge Stan for fourth. Chris Chan slide from fifth to sixth, despite a second place finish. Fourth through tenth is still wide open, and the final two races should be important to many of the contenders. Daniel Snipes, in ninth, is not out of this either; with two third-place finishes he still needs one race to enter adjusted scoring.

6/20/2009
With four races down in the 2009 OTHG Scalextric Tran-Am Championship adjusted scoring repositions the contenders. Michael Smalley still leads and Terry De Los Santos follows in second. Craig Williamson is now third, Stan Smith fourth, Chris Chan fifth and Daniel Snipes sixth with just two races completed.

4/5/2009
After three races, the 2009 OTHG Scalextric Trans-Am Championship leader remains Michael Smalley. Terry De Los Santos moves into a tie with Chris Radisich for second. Daniel Snipes holds fourth. Craig Williamson breaks the tie for fifth with Chris Chan who falls to seventh, Bruce Talamon moves into sixth. Adjusted scoring will kick-in after the next round.

3/7/2009
Daniel Snipes puts in his first OTHG Trans-Am race of the 2009 season and bounds into fourth, pushing Chris Chan down one spot into a tie for fifth with your author, Craig Williamson. The remaining top-six positions are unchanged.

2/7/2009
The first OTHG Scalextric Trans-Am Series race saw Chris Radisich flying in to secure second place in the championship behind Michael Smalley. The cars were a perfect fit for my US-themed Silverlake Speedway road circuit and they looked great setting into the fast-entry corners. Terry De Los Santos was third and Chris Chan used Michael's custom-built AAR Cuda to good effect to take fourth. I made a bad car choice in falling for the Parnelli Jones Mustang over my trusty black Camaro on White and came fifth. Eddie Shorer followed in his bitchin' black Camaro to sixth. With weight added, these cars are a load of fun to drive, and watch.
