The 2009 On The Hill Gang Driver's Championship is now complete. Michael Smalley claims another 2009 title and repeats his Driver's Championship win of last year. Terry De Los Santos ends the year in second. Daniel Snipes takes third. Thomas Lauffenberger has fourth. Bob Beck snags fifth with one race win. Bill Schniedewind finishes sixth. Eddie Shorer claims seventh, Craig Williamson eight and JR Ewing and Stephen Farr-Jones tie for ninth, filling the top ten.

The OTHG 2009 Driver's Championship put another race in the books with an SCX WRC 4WD race on Craig's Crazy 8. Michael Smalley is now your runaway champion with one race still to go. Terry De Los Santos and Daniel Snipes each look firm in second and third. From Thomas Lauffenberger in his new fourth position on down the list, things don't look so certain. Bob Beck is fifth, close behind Thomas. Bill Schneidewind holds sixth, Craig Williamson rises to seventh, Bruce Talamon to eight after a fine podium finish in the 4WD race, while Eddie Shorer drops to ninth. A good finish by any of these drivers in the final race could land them in the top-five.
The final 2009 Driver's Championship race will be held at Stan Smith's Baia della Sud on Oct 24 with Ninco GT-1 Le Mans cars.

The 2009 OTHG Driver's Championship again returns to Michael Smalley's Riverside; this time for a 1964-74 Fly Le Mans race. Michael continues to lead. After completing his three race minimum Daniel Snipes jumps into second. Terry De Los Santos is moved to third, and Bob Beck to fourth. Thomas Lauffenberger and Bill Schneidewind are also each moved down a step to fifth and sixth, respectively.

Round four of the 2009 OTHG Driver's Championship was decided with a Scalextric Trans-Am race at Michael Smalley's challenging Riverside circuit. Michael maintains his lead followed by Terry De Los Santos in second. Bob Beck moves up impressively to third while Thomas Lauffenberger hangs on to fourth. Bill Schneidewind is fifth and Eddie Shorer makes his presence known in sixth.

Round Three of the 2009 OTHG Loaner Car Championship was contested with Ninco Classic Le Mans cars on Bill Schneidewind's digital Targa Florio track. Despite uncharacteristic finishes for many of the drivers, the championship changes were not great. Bob Scott was able to use a win to move from sixth to fifth. Bill Scheidewind's second moves him up five spots to a championship sixth, tied with Bob Scott.

Round Two of the 2009 OTHG Loaner Car Championship was run with Slot.it cars on Bruce Talamon's track. It proved a fast combination. Terry De Los Santos was your winner and is now tied with Michael Smalley for the championship lead. Daniel Snipes holds a solid third. Thomas Lauffenberger remains in fourth. Chris Chan removes Bob Beck from fifth. Bob is now sixth, with Stephen Farr-Jones falling from the top-six.

Round One of the OTHG Loaner Car Championship opened with SCX Formula 1 cars on the Nigel's difficult 15-turn circuit track. Nigelstone is probably the most complicated OTHG Championship track with numerous traps for costly offs, and three long straightaways to let you spin your wheels. With exposed tires on the F1 cars the challenge left all but the very best drivers with some heartache. At the finish it was Michael Smalley aceing first, Terry De Los Santos quietly stealing second, Dr. Daniel Snipes extracting third, Thomas Lauffenberger borrowing his way to fourth, Bob Beck sliding into fifth and legendary SCX F1 driver Stephen Farr-Jones owning sixth.
