The 2008 OTHG SCX F1 Championship is complete and Daniel Snipes is your winner. He is followed by Michael Smalley in second and Craig Williamson in third. Terry De Los Santos slips in the last race of the year and falls to sixth in the championship, allowing Nigel Rick and Stephen Farr-Jones to advance their tie one position to fourth place overall, wihout even attending the final race.

Daniel Snipes put a lock on the 2008 OTHG SCX F1 Championship back in
September . With four wins this year and one race still to go, Daniel's patient and precise driving style pays him dividends in the vulnerable open-wheel cars. 2006 F1 Champion Michael Smalley remains firmly in second, but is likely a bit frustrated at having Daniel win this coveted championship for two years running. With a second place finish in the most recent race, Craig Williamson elbows out Terry De Los Santos for third by 0.05 points. Stephen Farr-Jones completes his three races and jumps into the fray, tying Nigel Rick for fifth place overall. Mike Pawl lies a strong seventh, waiting for his opening. Third through sixth are now separated by just 0.13 points with one race remaining. The final F1 standings for 2008 will be decided at Bruce's Circuit Villenueve, Dec 13.

Nigel Rick has completed his minimum of three races and jumps from ninth to fourth in the OTHG SCX F1 Championship. Craig Williamson and Thomas Lauffenberger are each moved down one spot, while the top three remain unchanged with Daniel Snipes leading over Michael Smalley and Terry De Los Santos.

Adjusted scoring has kicked-in for the OTHG SCX F1 Championship and the results tables are tossed anew. Grant Delgatty is removed from the top spot and is replaced by Daniel Snipes, with three wins and a strong lead over Michael Smalley in second. Terry De Los Santos lies in third followed closely by Craig Williamson, Thomas Lauffenberger and Bruce Talamon. Three races are still to run in this championsip, with the next race scheduled for Michael Smalley's Riverside Raceway.

Grant Delgatty returns to the OTHG Racing Club just in time to slip under the wire of unadjusted scoring and slithers into the lead of the SCX F1 Championship. His rise pushes Snipes, Neja and Smalley each down one spot. Rene's enduro win with Grant advances him to a tie for fourth. Nigel also benefits from a team win to move into sixth place. Chris Radisich and Terry DLS are subsequently removed from the top six.

Michael Smalley notches a win in his attempt to recover from a poor finish in the first SCX F1 race. Daniel Snipes retains his lead. Rene Cortez moves into the top-six, ahead of Terry De Los Santos.

Daniel Snipes takes the lead in the F1 Championship, with Tim Neja in second, and Chris Radisich in third. Michael Smalley sits in a surprisingly low fourth place, followed by Nigel Rick and Terry De Los Santos.
